What Does Clipping Path Mean?

A clipping path is a closed vector path or shape that is used to cut out an image through the image editing software. You can include anything inside the path after the application of the clipping path, and you can omit anything outside the path from the output. In the world of graphic designing, the clipping path is used to create an outline around a specific object while the rest of the image is made transparent.

What Does Photoshop Deep Etch Mean?

Deep-etching is a term used in graphic design to describe the procedure of cutting or removing an exact section of an image from its background. It is done so, that you may use that image or photograph for another purpose using a different background.

Why We Need Clipping Path?

Basically, the clipping path is used to knock out the background of an image. Clipping path is used particularly in the projects of graphic design that require huge images. Clipping path is mostly used by the companies that belong to the advertising industry, especially those in magazines deeply employ the clipping path. Distinct from the other background removal tools in photo-editing software, the clipping path is used as a vector path that allows the part of an image to show, though hiding the background.
In an image editing program, a clipping path is functionally equal to a mask in an illustrator program. It is an outline of an area that serves as a mask. You just have to select the masked area and it will give you the control to modify that specific part of the image whether deleting the background or overlapping a color. Clipping path is mostly done for the companies so that they can use the images for different purposes. What the experts do is that they remove the background of the image, change it or just turn it into white according to the requirements of the clients.

Why We Need Photoshop Deep Etching?

Deep etching is used for the purpose of photo retouching. You cannot do the image manipulation without the help of deep etching. If you want to adjust the color of the object deprived of affecting the background, you will have to make the selection of a specific object with the help of deep etching.
Deep Etching is different from clipping path because in deep etching technique we remove a particular section of a photograph or image from its background just to let it stand alone. You can simply use that part in a very different way or on another background.
The term deep etching is related to the printing industry and used for separating the image areas from backgrounds for print. Deep etching is distinctive for the marketing objects with the sales text and diverse colored backgrounds in print material.

Clipping Path service provider

Dinamico studio is the Best Clipping path and Photo editing service provider.

A clipping path (or “deep etch”) is a closed vector path, or shape, used to cut out a 2D image in image editing software. Anything inside the path will be included after the clipping path is applied; anything outside the path will be omitted from the output. Applying the clipping path results in a hard (aliased) or soft (anti-aliased) edge, depending on the image editor’s capabilities Clipping path By convention, the inside of the path is defined by its direction. Reversing the direction of a path reverses what is considered inside or outside. An inclusive path is one where what is visually “inside” the path corresponds to what will be preserved; an exclusive path, of opposite direction, contains what is visually “outside” the path. By convention, a clockwise path that is non-self-intersecting is considered inclusive.

A compound path results from the combination of multiple paths (inclusive and exclusive) and the Boolean operations that ultimately determine what the combined path contains. For instance, an inclusive path which contains a smaller exclusive path results in a shape with a “hole” (defined by the exclusive path).

Importance of color study

Importance color study

Every designer and Photo editor must know the color combination. Besides being inspired from other's work I would request you to emphasize also on color theory. I mean if you can study how color works and how they affects us then you'll surely become more efficient in dealing with colors. And believe me that will help you to increase your creative skills. Try to achieve a firmed grasp on color theory and its usage in designs. My friendly suggestion would be for you to study following stuffs from multiple sources to get a good feel about color theory as a whole. color wheel : primary, secondary and tertiary colors color harmony, color emotion tints, shades and tones hue, saturation, luminance contrast, highlights, brightness opaque, translucent/semi-transparent, transparent Hope you're already familiar with some of them (i.e. opacity, transparency). Now you should take the rest at your hand to master those. Believe me you'll find it's a lot of fun when you'll study those.
Color Study by Dinamicostudio
This study will also help you in your design career of course. Some Suggested Resources: 1) http://graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/2/sources-for-color-theory-or-psychology-of-color (that includes several links to relevant resources which are invaluable study materials regarding color theory) 2) Digital-Tutors has several Training Titles on Color Theory. I highly recommend to study at least one of them. I've put some titles below: i) http://www.digitaltutors.com/tutorial/271-Fundamentals-of-Color-Theory [if you can then it's a must have training] ii) http://www.digitaltutors.com/tutorial/1760-Understanding-Color-Theory-in-Concept-Art-and-Illustration iii) http://www.digitaltutors.com/tutorial/1021-Color-Theory-for-Todays-Creative-Professionals 3) Try to find "Color Wheel" and "Color Emotion" etc. on Google Images. 4) From YouTube, try to study individual items I recommended earlier above. "Transparent, Translucent, Opaque" as example. You've got an idea :) Friends, It was my first doc here in this group. I'm so embarrassed about my casual writing. I've tried to make it informational rather than a tutorial. That is worthless until it can help at least an individual to direct her to study what, why, how and where about color theory. Actually I didn't try to discuss what color theory is and why it's so important to study about this. Instead, I was intended to suggest some materials and to pushing you for learning color theory. And hopefully your feedback will inspire me to write something better next time. (Note: If you think you need a translated version of this very tiny document then ask for it in your comment below without any hesitation)
